Musti Group has launched updated responsibility approach and targets

For Musti Group, responsibility means high standards in everything we do. We have launched updated responsibility approach and targets for our Trusty approach. The updated Trusty responsibility indicators are available on our website.

We aim to have a pawsitive impact on the society and we make the life of pets and their parents easier, safer and more fun. As a forerunner in the market, we are a valued partner to our stakeholders, and our business is built on trust. We are the only pet specialty business participating in the United Nations Global Compact initiative and have committed to follow its 10 principles.

Our responsibility work is divided into six themes. Pets and their parents, employees and being part of the community are the main themes of the Trusty approach. Our work is based on a responsible supply chain, reducing environmental impact, good governance and high ethics.

Trusty topics give an overview of what matters most to our stakeholders and us as a company. Our values – expertise, trust and our company culture described as the Musti feeling – guide us in everything we do. 

Trusty is a continuation of our long-term investment in the well-being of pets and people. We are pawssionate about our responsibility work and for us, it means prioritizing the welfare of pets and people, having high standards for quality, safety and expertise, as well as continuously finding ways to develop our business responsibly.

To create a pawsitive impact, we have identified our responsibility themes and topics through careful mapping and prioritization, and we continue developing our Trusty approach consistently.

“Each responsibility theme has concrete targets that we track and work to achieve. During the spring, we have reviewed our Trusty approach and updated it to aim even higher in our responsibility work,” says CSR and Quality Manager Marja-Leena Holopainen.

For us, responsibility means concrete actions and a lot is happening in our everyday work. We communicate about our responsibility work through Trusty stories.
